Stories of the streets

I woke up on Saturday with my camera in mind. Port Louis, the capital, is my go-to for capturing stories. Walking its streets is like time-traveling. Old buildings stand next to new ones, and every little path seems to have a story. The sounds of footsteps give life to those tales. I don’t know, I just feel that Port Louis has something special, full of life.

On this empty street (because it’s still early for most people), an older man walks slowly, looking like he’s carrying years of stories. His old shirt and the historic walls around him both show their age. The ground feels like it’s seen many people walk on it.

Not far away, another elderly man sits, watching everything. Even though he’s wearing a mask, you can tell he’s deep in thought, maybe thinking of old times. From his chair, he gets to see so many stories pass by. I’d like to sit there and imagine people’s life!

This place? It’s more than just a city street. It’s where life happens. You see excited kids, wise old folks, happy moments, and intriguing strangers. It feels like every step taken here has a story, making this spot special and full of heart.
